Kuranosuke Sasaki is a Japanese actor who was born on February 4, 1968, in Kyoto, Japan. He graduated from&nbsp;Kobe University and initially worked in advertising before turning his hand to acting. He began appearing in stage plays in 1990, and eventually transitioned into drama and movie acting, appearing in the dramas “Audrey” in 2000 and “Handoku!!!” in 2001. In 2003, he starred in the movie “Bayside Shakedown 2.” More recently, he has starred in the film “One Night” (2019) and “Kirin ga Kuru” (2020-2021).

Kota (Kuranosuke Sasaki) is a budding writer whose works are still unpublished despite over 10 years of effort.

Life changes beyond recognition when he and his junk food-loving friend of almost two decades Yoko (Hiromi Nagasaku), decide to tie the knot.

Even though they are in their late 30s, Yoko quickly becomes pregnant. But during a routine health check-up, they discover that she also has terminal cancer. She successfully gives birth to their baby son, but dies shortly after.

Suddenly a single father, things start to look bleak for Kota. But then things take a turn for the weird when Yoko’s ghost starts appearing to him, encouraging him to chronicle his life in a blog.

Unsure if he is really just imaging her, Kota nonetheless decides to pay heed to her advice – with surprising results!

Riiko (Aibu Saki) is an office worker who dreams of becoming a top pastry chef. She has had a rotten love life so far: Whenever she falls for a man, he ends up rejecting her and she has thus never had a real boyfriend. One day, a sales manager from a tech startup named Kronos Heaven convinces her to take part in a pilot involving an android who is designed to be the perfect lover for all women. She agrees to take on this cybernetic boyfriend for an initial one-week trial, naming him Night Tenjo (Hayami Mokomichi). The latter proves to be a doting, sincere, and loving boyfriend, although he often causes Riiko embarrassment by frankly telling her acquaintances that he is her “perfect boyfriend.”

Things get even weirder when Night Tenjo takes on a job as a janitor in the firm where Riiko works – and when Soshi (Mizushima Hiro), an executive at the company with family ties to the ownership, decides to profess his love for her, after years of admiring her from afar. When Kronos Heaven attempts to pull the plug on Night Tenjo, he does not want to quietly be decommissioned and fights to remain with Riiko. But will Riiko choose her perfect high-tech lover or his human rival?
